Theresa Lounsberry, MEd. has over a decade of experience in equine education, including her current role as the Head Coach of the Hunt Seat Equestrian Team at Alfred University. Under her leadership, the team has achieved an Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) Regional High Point Team title and several Regional High Point riders. Students in her program have also individually advanced to the Zone Finals and the prestigious National Championships, placing amongst the top 24 equitation riders in the nation. Theresa’s coaching style prioritizes both strong horsemanship and the fostering a positive, supportive environment to help both horse and rider achieve their full potential. She is a graduate of the University of Findlay’s English Equestrian program, having continued her education with training farms in Germany and the US.

SOEE needs Sponsors
Show Off Equine Events was founded in 2012, when we started off with just one single weekend show and a small number of exhibitors, to now one of the largest open horse show organizations in the area. This coming year we are hosting 5 total horse shows at the Schaghticoke Fairgrounds (Schaghticoke, NY). Our exhibitors come to us from all over New York State, as well as Vermont, Maine, Connecticut and Massachusetts. We typically see well over 200 horses per weekend, boasting around 1200 entries and packed grandstands. Show Off Equine Events prides itself in not only being one of the largest open horse show organizations in the area, but also one that gives back to the community. We have organized multiple fundraisers for families both in and out of our organization, whether they were struggling with family tragedies, barn fires or medical issues – SOEE and its exhibitors have always come together to support each other!
All the support that we receive from local businesses goes directly back to the exhibitors. Whether it is donation of products, services, prizes or monetary, we make sure it is clear to the exhibitors who it is that is supporting them. We have several different ways we can help promote your business based on the different supporter levels. These levels were created as a guide, we understand that not all businesses thrive their best as others would, therefore we are open to discussing custom supporter packages. Also you will notice that we have set monetary amounts to these levels but we understand that for some companies that may not be possible, we are open to in-kind, prize and hospitality sponsorships. If that is the case we would love to work with you to make sure your company greatly benefits from this opportunity.
